Fromm Turkey Pâté and Fromm Diner Classics Milo’s Meatloaf Pâté Wet Dog Food
Fromm Family Foods of Mequon, Wisconsin, is voluntarily recalling certain lots of Fromm Turkey Pâté Wet Dog Food and Fromm Diner Classics Milo’s Meatloaf Pâté Wet Dog Food due to potential metal contamination.
The recall includes 3,852 cases of Fromm Turkey Pâté and 1,973 cases of Fromm Diner Classics Milo’s Meatloaf Pâté.
According to the company, the recall was initiated after complaints of metal contamination were received. Fromm says it has identified the error and has implemented corrective actions in addition to its existing safety procedures.
Dogs that swallow metal may experience:
- Choking
- Vomiting
- Loss of appetite
- Lethargy
- Stomach discomfort
- Cuts or lacerations in the mouth or gastrointestinal tract
- Partial intestinal blockage
- Intestinal obstruction
Sharp pieces of metal can cause particularly serious injuries if swallowed.
No illnesses or injuries have been reported in connection with these recalled products to date.
If your dog has eaten the recalled food and is showing signs of illness or discomfort, contact your veterinarian.
Stop Feeding These Products Immediately
If you have one of the affected cans, do not feed it to your dog.
Consumers are advised to return the recalled product to the retailer where it was purchased.

No other Fromm products are included in this recall.
What Should You Do?
- Check any Fromm Turkey Pâté or Fromm Diner Classics Milo’s Meatloaf Pâté canned dog food you have at home.
- Look for the affected lot codes and Best By date of 03/2029.
- Stop feeding recalled products immediately.
- Return the recalled food to the retailer where you purchased it.
- Do not continue feeding a can even if you do not see any visible metal.
- If your dog has eaten the recalled food and develops choking, vomiting, loss of appetite, lethargy, abdominal discomfort, or other concerning symptoms, contact your veterinarian.
