On December 11, 2021 Costco.ca recalled their Irish Rover 2021 Advent Calendar for Dogs, claiming the dog treats in the calendars do not meet their quality standards.
These calendars were distributed from the Costco Warehouse and Costco.ca between October 1, 2021 and December 8, 2021 in Canada however there have been reports on various social media accounts in the US about these treats having made their way to some US homes.
The official announcement from Irish Dog Foods states, "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask you to please pass this information along to anyone to whom the product may have been given."
There were no other details about this recall.
