Hi, I’m Shana – the maker, mess-maker, and storyteller behind Angel & Lily’s Dog House.

I’ve been crafting since I was a kid (like, glitter-glued-to-my-soul level crafting). What started as a love of making things turned into a lifelong habit of creating chaos, corralled only by my sewing machine, a cup of coffee, and a very opinionated cocker spaniel named Ozzy.

Back in 2006, a fellow maker told me, “You should totally sell your stuff online.” So I did! That’s how Angel & Lily Dog Collars + Accessories was born. These days, I still make all the cute, handmade dog gear – just not here. This space is where I share the stories behind it all: the creative process, dog mom life, and whatever else happens between sewing sessions and snack breaks.

When you read this blog, you’re supporting the same small-biz spirit – celebrating handmade, sustainability, and dogs over basically everything else. You can still shop my creations over on Etsy, but around here, it’s mostly about the joy (and occasional chaos) that comes with making things by hand, dog food and treat recall information and living life with a dog who runs the house.
